Details of the processing activity:

1. Video surveillance:

a) Purpose of the processing activity:

Video surveillance is carried out to exercise domiciliary rights. Video surveillance is also carried out to prevent criminal offences and to enable the prosecution of criminal offences, as well as to assert, exercise or defend legal claims.

b) Legal basis of the processing activity:

The legal basis for video surveillance is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
Insofar as special categories of personal data are processed, this is done on the basis of Art. 9(2)(f) in conjunction with Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. The legitimate interest lies in protecting persons and property on the business premises, enforcing house rules, preventing or investigating abuse/criminal offences and documenting security-related incidents.

c) Recipient / transfer of data:
Internally (facility management, IT, management).
The data is passed on to service providers commissioned by us who perform surveillance tasks for our company.
In the event of suspected criminal offences, we may also pass on the data to solicitors, insurance companies and law enforcement authorities.
Otherwise, the data will only be disclosed if there is a legal basis for doing so. This may be the case, in particular, if the police or other security authorities take action within the scope of so-called hazard prevention and request access to the video surveillance data.

2. Vehicle registration number recognition:

When entering the company premises or using the parking areas, the vehicle registration number, including the front and rear of the vehicle, is recorded and compared with the internally stored registration numbers.

a) Purpose of the processing activity:

The registration number is recorded and compared for the purpose of access control.

b) Legal basis of the processing activity:

The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. The legitimate interest lies in access control and traffic flow optimization (e.g. prevention of traffic jams).

c) Recipient / transfer of data:
The data is transferred to service providers commissioned by us who perform vehicle registration number recording for our company.

Data transfer to third countries:

No transmission to third countries is planned.

Additional information obligations:

Period of storage of the personal data:

1. Video surveillance
Data from video surveillance is generally deleted after 72 hours.
Longer storage may be necessary in specific cases if there are facts that justify the assumption that recordings from a limited period of time show acts that are to be prosecuted as criminal offences or used to assert civil law claims.

2. Vehicle registration number recognition
The vehicle registration numbers collected as part of vehicle registration number recognition are deleted immediately if they are no longer necessary to achieve the purposes for which they were collected. The vehicle registration numbers stored in the system for comparison purposes are deleted upon termination of the contractual relationship.
