ROWE RACING ANNOUNCES DRIVER LINE-UP

It’s finally time to get back on track: the motorsport season is about to begin, and following a successful 2025 calendar year, ROWE RACING has set the course for another strong season. Alongside the new look of the BMW M4 GT3 EVO, there are also some changes in the BMW M Motorsport paddock.

GT World Challenge – Two cars, six drivers, one goal

In the GT World Challenge Endurance Cup, ROWE RACING will compete this season with two cars and a new strategic focus. After years of concentrating exclusively on the 24 Hours of Spa—where ROWE RACING has secured three victories and a total of five podium finishes, making it one of the most successful teams in the classic race—the team is now focusing on winning the Endurance Cup for the first time.

Augusto Farfus from Brazil and Raffaele Marciello from Switzerland will continue to race in the #98 car. They will be supported by 2023 Formula E World Champion Jake Dennis from Great Britain.

At the same time, the team is breaking new ground with the #998 car and is working with BMW M Motorsport to establish a targeted junior driver program: The car, featuring the distinctive GEN M design, will compete in the Gold Cup and serve to develop young talent. Under the guidance of BMW M works driver Jens Klingmann, his German compatriot Tim Tramnitz and Belgian Ugo de Wilde are gaining racing experience at the highest level.

Two cars, six drivers, one goal: to fight for the top spots in every race.

“Over the past ten years, our clear focus has been on the single highlight – the 24 Hours of Spa. We viewed the other races primarily as preparation or test runs. Now that we have established ourselves in the sport, the time has come for us to take the next step. We want to continue developing and deliver our performance level not just on a case-by-case basis, but consistently throughout the entire season. To that end, we have made targeted investments in our structures and new capabilities. Our goal is to bring the quality we have demonstrated so often at Spa to the track in every single race going forward.”

ROWE RACING - One TEAM. One Goal.

ROWE is involved in motorsport not just out of passion for the sport or for a good image, but because no test is more realistic than out on the race track. We therefore use findings from our “driving laboratory” to research new lubricants and to optimize existing formulations. With ROWE RACING, we achieve something that cannot be recreated in any laboratory in the world: the practical test under extreme conditions.

The team's main focus has always been on endurance racing, but especially on the extreme challenge of the 24-hour races. “The more difficult the situation and the greater the stress, the more ROWE RACING can shine,” says Hans-Peter Naundorf, Team Principal of ROWE RACING.
