COOLANT WITHOUT 2-EHS AVAILABLE SOON

As we already informed you at the beginning of the year, 2-ethylhexanoic acid (2-EHS) and its salts will be classified with the hazard statement H360D throughout the EU as from 23 November 2023. This above all affects products in the coolant area.
 
Our range of coolants is currently being changed successively to 2-EHS-free products. Thanks to early preparation and intensive development work, we will already be able to deliver the following ROWE products as 2-EHS-free variants during the course of June. You can recognise the modified products by the fact that the label has the product designation “ANTIFREEZE COOLANT” instead of just “ANTIFREEZE”. The article numbers remain unchanged:

We gladly again point out that these modified products are of absolutely equivalent quality in comparison with the previous products. This has been proven both by internal analyses and also tests by recognised and accredited external test laboratories. The respective product application areas and specifications are identical.
 
You can sell off stocks of our coolants with 2-EHS without restrictions until 23 November 2023. Special regulations apply to supply after this date.
 
You can still sell the 2-EHS-free product variants after 23 November without having to observe these regulations.
