DEFENDING CHAMPIONS ANNOUNCE DRIVER LINE-UP
FOR 24H OF NÜRBURGRING
ROWE RACING heads into the ADAC 24 Hours of Nürburgring on 16 and 17 May with a clear objective: to successfully defend their title. Following last year’s overall victory, the team is aiming to stand at the very top of the podium once again – a feat no one has managed at the endurance classic in the ‘Green Hell’ for 17 years.
With two BMW M4 GT3 EVOs and a total of eight BMW M works drivers, ROWE RACING is in an excellent position. At the same time, BMW, as the record winner of the 24-hour race at the Nürburgring, is aiming for its 22nd overall victory. The final intensive preparations for the season’s highlight in the Eifel will take place this coming weekend at the ADAC 24h Qualifiers, where the team will gather important insights under race conditions.
THREE PREVIOUS WINNERS AND A SPA CHAMPION AT THE WHEEL
In the #1 BMW M4 GT3 EVO, ROWE RACING is fielding a particularly high-calibre line-up. The three overall winners from last year – Augusto Farfus, Raffaele Marciello and Kelvin van der Linde – are returning to the cockpit together to repeat their success. The quartet is completed by Jordan Pepper, who won the 2025 Spa 24 Hours and is a new addition to the BMW M works driver line-up this season. Pepper also impressed on his Nordschleife debut for ROWE RACING with a victory in the Nürburgring Endurance Series (NLS).
The #99 BMW M4 GT3 EVO also boasts a line-up with extensive Nordschleife expertise. Dan Harper, Max Hesse, Sheldon van der Linde and Dries Vanthoor form a balanced and experienced quartet of drivers. Vanthoor brings the experience of a previous overall victory at the 24 Hours of Nürburgring, whilst Sheldon van der Linde, Harper and Hesse have all previously secured podium finishes at this classic event.
ROWE RACING - ONE TEAM. ONE GOAL.
ROWE is involved in motorsport not just out of passion for the sport or for a good image, but because no test is more realistic than out on the race track. We therefore use findings from our “driving laboratory” to research new lubricants and to optimize existing formulations. With ROWE RACING, we achieve something that cannot be recreated in any laboratory in the world: the practical test under extreme conditions.
The team's main focus has always been on endurance racing, but especially on the extreme challenge of the 24-hour races. “The more difficult the situation and the greater the stress, the more ROWE RACING can shine,” says Hans-Peter Naundorf, Team Principal of ROWE RACING.
